Carleton University's Geomatics and Cartographic Research Centre has launched a new interactive online atlas based on the records of anthropologist Knud Rasmussentut. The Fifth Thule Expedition collected vast amounts of Inuit knowledge in the form of oral traditions, traditional place names, linguistic information, Inuit drawn maps, photographs, and ethnographic objects. Check out the Fifth Thule Expedition Atlas.
CBC has also reported on the Atlas.
